
FAQ's
We invoice termly and we accept cash or cheques or you can pay by direct credit into our account the details will be in the invoice.
The classes are £7.00 per hour. We have a Tiny Groovers class for under 3 which is a drop in class at £4.00.
For ballet - black leotard or light blue leotard (we can provide this at £10.00) depending on class and pink ballet shoes. Our younger students (3 years) can wear pink ballet tutu.
For all other classes we have a uniform t-shirt which is compulsory (we have these for sale on reception - adult £8.50, children’s £6.50) and black leggings.
Our classes on Saturday are held at Mounts Bay Academy. Our weekday classes are at the YMCA.
There is plenty of parking outside the school.
If you miss a class and you are learning a routine we would expect you to try and speak to either us or one of your friends to try and catch up. We will endeavour to record some classes and you will be able to login and see the class online.
We do not currently have exams, but every ballet and tap class we teach the syllabus. Our aim is to do exams in the future.
We have two shows a year. One show in July, before the summer, and we have a Christmas show.
We try to cover all levels of dancing, acting and singing and therefore offer classes for beginner to advanced. We try to offer classes based on ability rather than age. We offer a free trial class to see which class is suitable.
We encourage the parents’ support for any new students especially for our very young ones, therefore we are happy for them to watch for the first couple of lessons. We do, however, like to encourage independence. We occasionally have open days for everyone to do all the classes and we invite parents in to watch.
There is a changing room available for both our male and female students.
